Our Story
A home away from home on Koh Lanta since 2015

 

Lanta Complex opened its doors in 2015 and has since become a firm favourite with visitors returning to Koh Lanta year after year.

For us, it has always been about more than just providing somewhere to stay. Over the years, guests have shared BBQ nights, film nights and traditional Thai ceremonies, and many people who first met at Lanta Complex have gone on to become lifelong friends.

Meet Penn & the Family

 

Lanta Complex is a family-run business owned by Penn, originally from nearby Trang. Penn moved to Koh Lanta in the early 2000s and opened Penn's Shop, which became a popular local shop selling electrical goods and homeware.

In 2017, the shop became the home of Lanta Muay Thai Complex, which has grown into a popular place for locals and visitors to train Muay Thai.

Today, Penn runs Lanta Complex with the help of her two sons and daughter, keeping the friendly, family atmosphere at the heart of the business.

And don't be surprised if you see the next generation running around too, Penn's grandchildren are often here as well!
